Public bug reported: Binary package hint: plymouth
I'm using a current lucid daily 64 bit image as of 14-mar-10, booted from a usb stick. The boot splash comes up and the progress bar animates as if something is happening but the system never boots. There is no activity on the usb drive. I can switch to the first console, which shoes the following line several times: /init: line 7: can't open /dev/sdf: no medium found ** Affects: plymouth (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Boot splash hangs in lucid 64-bit livecd https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/538862 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
