Apparently at least with jaunty and firefox 3 you no longer need to delete the plugin database to get it to reload with mozplugger. I'll play with that later to see if it holds for lucid. what libmoon does just so I'm clear is prevent firefox from generating a new database if for some reason it is removed after moonlight has been installed and thus firefox crashes upon restart. the simple fix is to uninstall libmoon allow firefox to remake the pluginreg.dat file and then reinstall moonlight.
