Nothing, save for normal copying. No freaky hard drive noises, nothing.
I would think click of death also, but like I said, it only happens
during a normal boot into Lucid. It didn't happen with Karmic. What I
find most perplexing is the fact that it seems to think that it only
takes 80 seconds to boot when it takes over 7 minutes. OOC, anyone know
what the difference between what stuff is run when using a normal boot
vs. recovery boot into root console with networking (toss in starting x
there, I can run x from the root console and have no issues) is? The
only thing I can think of is that it has to be one of those packages.
