Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
I have a dual-monitor setup, and it seems that evince doesn't seem to display PDF's correctly when you enter Presentation mode. In my case it shows half of the PDF on one screen and nothing on the other. This seemed different enough from https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/245206 to warrant a new bug report. Steps to reproduce (you will need a multi-monitor configuration to test this) 1. Open a PDF using evince (such as https://help.ubuntu.com/9.04/serverguide/C/serverguide.pdf) 2. Enter Presentation mode by pressing F5 3. In my case, the half of the PDF appears in one screen, but nothing appears in the other. What I was expecting: 1. The PDF document to be displayed across all screens - or - 2. The PDF document to be displayed fully on one of the screens Various other bits of information: :~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) Release: 10.04 :~$ apt-cache policy evince evince: Installed: 2.29.92-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.29.92-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.29.92-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status :~$ apt-cache policy xserver-xorg-video-intel xserver-xorg-video-intel: Installed: 2:2.9.1-1ubuntu13 Candidate: 2:2.9.1-1ubuntu13 Version table: *** 2:2.9.1-1ubuntu13 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- presentation mode doesn't seem to work with two monitors https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/538418 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
