They could be related, but I would appreciate it if you could try something for us first. Could you please try to reproduce this bug with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? You do not need to delete your old profile to test. If this helps, you might want to try to disable all your extensions and re-enable them one by one until you find the problematic one.
You can start the profile manager with the following command: firefox -ProfileManager I have not been able to reproduce this bug on my 64-bit 10.04 system, so I'm wondering if it could just be an add-on. If we determine this to be a legitimate bug, then I will set the status.
