Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cups

Hi,
I use an Epson Acculaser C900. In the past it was possible to print but not
whithout problems. In order to print a pdf-file, for instance, it did not print
by the print button in the file menue and then the ok -button in the
print-window but I had first to open the print preview page and then to click
on the print button.
But since the last update several days ago, in which there were some files
concerning cups it does not at all print.
Unfortunately the cups-system does not read and display all the messages from
the printer. By trying to print a test-page I could get a message. First by
clicking on the print-testpage button nothing happens except that the LED which
indicates a failure was lighted. Then by clicking on the button
printing-a-test-page I got the message:
'client-error-document-format-not-supported'.
By using the help-function I get a lot of informations, see attachement.
I use Ubuntu 9.10 and the version of cups is 1.4.1-5ubuntu 2.4
What can do in order to use again my printer? Please help!

regards zy
