@Gokie: The grep command was only to check if there are entities in logs generated by pidgin that were not recognized by the import of kopete (in the state of the attached patch above).
Since yesterday the original problem is fixed in official kde sources and QXmlStreamReader is still used there, so we don't have any problems with named entities. @Maddev and everybody else: Would you mind test it?
