We've retain backwards compatibility with all of the APIs, unless they were deprecated over a year ago. Every change to Twisted is thoroughly code reviewed and no change can get in without full unit test coverage. In terms of testing, we regular run our full test suite on various permutations of our supported platforms. Results available here: http://buildbot.twistedmatrix.com/boxes-supported. The Launchpad team have also verified that Launchpad works with the new Twisted with no code changes. Since Twisted is mostly a library, I have no screenshots. Note that although the version number has had a big jump, that's simply because we use the major number to indicate the year of release. It doesn't indicate massive new features or refactoring.
