Please note that this bug was reported on a live session.. which means almost all of those attachments above are useless.
The only one you should concern yourself with is the one named "xorg log". I installed Karmic onto the laptop, updated it fully, and then ran "update-manager -d" to upgrade to the latest Lucid build.
