Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu 9.10 install, that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.
This is a bug even in the latest network manager. But the fix is not trivial, [from my discussion with the nm maintainers] Not a papercut For further information about papercuts criteria, please read https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PaperCut. Don't worry though, this bug has been marked as "Invalid" only in the papercuts project. ** Summary changed: - [intrepid] network-manager, missing icon on the system tray or notification area after switching to a different user + network-manager, missing icon on the system tray or notification area after switching to a different user ** Changed in: hundredpapercuts Status: New => Invalid ** Project changed: hundredpapercuts => network-manager-applet ** Changed in: network-manager-applet Status: Invalid => New -- network-manager, missing icon on the system tray or notification area after switching to a different user https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/284162 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
