Thanks Bryce, I'll check it out. I had noted that I was also getting the same crash anytime I tried to play a Flash video (downloaded using get-iplayer) or via the official BBC Iplayer tool. I've actually swapped that machine out now for one with an Nvidia card in the hope that I can get some decent performance out Iplayer and full screen flash (still not great...).
I tried all the various hacks out there to get some better performance out of the 845 but to no avail, does the latest patch do anything for video performance?
