Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-shell
Release: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: gnome-shell 2.28.0-0ubuntu2 (launchpad ppa) Description: the favorite shortcuts in application area do not embed its running application if it is java based like eclipse. Steps to reproduce: 1. Add eclipse 3.5 as favorite to application area of gnome-shell 2. Add IBM WebSphere Integration Developer 7.0 as favorite to application area of gnome-shell 3. Add IBM Lotus Notes 8.5 as favorite to application area of gnome-shell 4. Launch the 3 applications above, all run without problem 5. These 3 running application are not shown in application area with their highlighted shortcuts, but as 3 extra running applications. It seems all java application thread can not be correctly recognized just like docky2.
