*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 36532 *** This is a bug in the gs-esp package. Since /etc/cups/pstoraster.convs is marked as a configuration file it doesn't get replaced on dist-upgrading. You probably did one or several dist-upgrades from previous versions of Ubuntu and are still stuck with the pstoraster.convs from the first Ubuntu version you installed.
These commands should solve your problem and install the latest pstoraster.convs: $ sudo dpkg --purge --force-all gs-esp $ sudo apt-get install gs-esp Can you provide the output of the printingbug info script for some basic information about your printing setup.
