Binary package hint: xorg
Sudden X crash observed on Karmic running the nVidia drivers.
When this occurred, I had three VMs running in Virtual box. One was
Karmic Server 32bit, one was Karmic Server 64bit, and I had just started
the live version of UNR in the third.
The screen went blank, though the VMs were still running (The two server
VMs were still in the process of updating)
I looked for any stack traces (other than what apport has in the dmesg
log) but the only thing I could find was this one line in
/var/log/messages:
Feb 28 23:01:38 klaatu kernel: [24250.289806] Xorg[1605]: segfault at 8

System is an Alienware M15x with a GeForce 240 card (see attached files
for specifics) and fully updated Karmic running.
