Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
My Acer Aspire 5740-5513 laptop does not dim when AC power is removed and is relying on battery only. I don't know if this is specifically a gnome-power-manager problem or something to do with the acpi subsystem in general. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) Release: 10.04 $ apt-cache policy gnome-power-manager gnome-power-manager: Installed: 2.29.2-0ubuntu9 Candidate: 2.29.2-0ubuntu9 Version table: *** 2.29.2-0ubuntu9 0 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Feb 28 08:40:01 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Alpha i386 (20100213) Package: gnome-power-manager 2.29.2-0ubuntu9 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=C SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-14.20-generic-pae SourcePackage: gnome-power-manager Uname: Linux 2.6.32-14-generic-pae i686 ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug battery i386 lucid -- laptop doesn't dim when on battery power https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/529532 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
