I have made a fresh install and after that the issue had gone. It happened after an upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10. I seem to have often problems after an upgrade. Once I didn't have sound and after a later upgrade I had the mentioned bug. From that moment on I only make fresh installs. Only problem is that it takes more work. Thanks for writing back.
