Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please answer these questions:
* Is this reproducible? * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? This will help us to find and resolve the problem. I tried to reproduce this defect by creating a launcher on my desktop and I can rename it with no problem using Nautilus. So it is very possible that when the Wine application was installed, it created the .desktop file with permissions that are such that it does not allow you to rename it. Can you check the owner, as well as the permissions that exist on that .desktop file please? The output of the following command would be ideal: ls -ls *.desktop ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- was unable to rename a *.desktop file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/528614 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
