Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
This bug might not pertain to the ubuntone-client package, but this is the best place I can think to file the report. Sorry if this should go elsewhere. I am using a stable release of Ubuntu 9.10; ubuntuone-client 1.0.3. Ubuntu One is working fine for normal files. Yesterday I created a "master document" in OOWriter on my work machine using three files, all of which are in a subfolder in my Ubuntu One directory. I saved the master document in the same subfolder and U1 client synched it. When I went to look at the master document on my home machine this morning, the file was present but only produced a blank page. The three files I had used to create it were listed in the master document navigator window, but the actual document was empty. When I hovered my mouse over the filenames in the navigator, they showed very long and complicated links. I'm not sure how OOWriter puts together master documents, but it seems only to create links to other documents, rather than compose a new document by inserting other files. If so, there are probably other instances where Ubuntu One incorrectly synchs linked files. ** Affects: ubuntuone-client (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ubuntu one doesn't seem to handle linked files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/528835 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
