Sorry to disturb you again and poll the status of this bug, but you said: "We removed asoundconf from alsa-utils precisely because it will create alsa-lib configurations that cause the sorts of problems you're experiencing with PulseAudio."
Now, if I PROPERLY configure ALSA DRIVERS and just select 'Pulseaudio' as preferred in Gnome-Audio panel and using alsaconf... SOME APPLICATION STILL USES ALSA AND NOT PULSEAUDIO!!!! This is a HUGE bug... when I format and install a fresh Ubuntu... HOW can I properly configure AUDIO without the tricky workaround? Please focus on this issue... -- [regression] After Karmic Update integration ALSA+PULSEAUDIO is problematic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
