I had the PPA fix installed. Network Manager upgrade yesterday broke my network connectivity completely, both wired and wireless. The versions that broke it for me were: network-manager_0.8-0ubuntu4~nmt4~karmic and network-manager-gnome_0.8-0ubuntu3~nmt2~karmicl.
Not sure if these came from the PPA or from the main Karmic repository. No current version from PPA or from Karmic main is working for me. I was sometimes able to get connected intermittently by doing sudo dhclient from the terminal. I had to downgrade to the rc4 versions that used to be in the PPA (still had them on my machine in /var/cache/apt/archives). Posting this info here as it is relevant to those looking for a solution -- PPA above may no longer help anyone. Any updates on the possibility of getting a working version in Karmic main? -- Connect to Hidden...select Saved Secure Connection; Connect not possible https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/446394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
