Hi Alex, As I updated today, the version is:
Installed: 5.0.336.0~svn20100224r39849-0ubuntu1~ucd1~karmic So the version of the report was yesterday's version from the chromium- daily PPA. BUT: I got the same thing today while clicking around in Opera. So I guess it has nothing to do with Chromium itself. Maybe it's Flash as I had several tabs open at both times where at least one had some Flash contents. Or it's some strange bug in fglrx. I can't tell. The log entries of today are: Feb 24 13:03:31 riddick kernel: [ 1687.146474] Xorg:1330 conflicting memory types df58b000-dfc1f000 write-combining<->uncached-minus Feb 24 13:03:31 riddick kernel: [ 1687.146479] reserve_memtype failed 0xdf58b000-0xdfc1f000, track write-combining, req write-combining Feb 24 13:03:31 riddick kernel: [ 1687.146481] [fglrx:KCL_MEM_VM_MapRegion] *ERROR* remap_pfn_range failed Feb 24 13:03:31 riddick kernel: [ 1687.146491] [fglrx:__create_mapping] *ERROR* Can not get virtual address Feb 24 13:03:31 riddick kernel: [ 1687.146493] [fglrx:__mc_heap_map_virtual_space] *ERROR* Failed to map the virtual space Feb 24 13:03:31 riddick kernel: [ 1687.146495] [fglrx:mc_heap_map_virtual_space] *ERROR* Can not get virtual address Feb 24 13:03:31 riddick kernel: [ 1687.146497] [fglrx:MCIL_GetVirtualAddressInDescriptor] *ERROR* Can not get the virtual address Feb 24 13:04:45 riddick kernel: imklog 4.2.0, log source = /var/run/rsyslog/kmsg started. This time, the machine was up only a few minutes. But since the cold start after that lockup, it is running happily for now. -- Using Chromium crashed X and made kernel panic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/526757 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
