libsdl1.2debian-pulseaudio is installed, but still have the above problem when using KDEnlive.
Another bug fix as related in this 2007 posting: http://www.kdenlive.org/mantis/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=31 which involves installing libsdl1.2debian-all and removing libsdl1.2debian-oss Which is a big problem for me. If I do this, half my system wants to uninstall itself. I have a lot of games and gigabytes of data which will simply uninstall. Surely ubuntu should be fixed by default? This seems as if people have gotten used to living with a bug workaround instead of getting it right in karmic, thus causing a lot more trouble the further we move forward. My sound was not too bad in hardy. It is worse in karmic. -- "SDL failed to open audio: no available audio device" when selecting PulseAudio as audio driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/440875 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
