Public bug reported: Binary package hint: grub2
Im using Ubuntu 9.10 and Windows 7, if I update grub-pc in few reboots grub becomes useless, presenting only a "Cannot find "uparrowsomething" symbol" message. I reinstaled ubuntu without updating grub-pc and is working fine.. thanks ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Feb 23 01:56:25 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx Package: grub-pc 1.97~beta4-1ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=pt_BR.UTF-8 LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-19.56-generic SourcePackage: grub2 Uname: Linux 2.6.31-19-generic i686 ** Affects: grub2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Grub: Cannot find "" symbol https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/526224 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
