@Neskie : By including OpenDNS servers into your router's config, you have effectively bypassed this bug. Remove the OpenDNS server entries by updating your router and you'll see the issue is very much apparent on Karmic, but is NOT apparent on Macs, Windows or earlier versions of Ubuntu. The issue might be resolver, might be IPv6, might be Network Manager, but it was definitely introduced in Karmic and remains an active bug today.
If anyone on the Network Manager team would like to investigate this issue more fully, I'm pretty handy with Wireshark/tcpdump traces too and I'm happy to back up any of the.scarecrows initial reports/traces, if it would be useful to do so. -- Karmic & Lucid WiFi DNS not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522337 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
