No matter how I set my bios - isolinux does not work for me (however I
can make grub work with changing bios settings)

Nevertheless both isolinux and grub should have native keyboard support. PS/2 
keyboards are on their way out.

We simply can't say 'change this in your bios' to newbies. 
This either has to be fixed - or it will be a reason for only geeks using 
linux. 

I have changed the status to confirmed - since I just did confirm the
bug.
