No matter how I set my bios - isolinux does not work for me (however I can make grub work with changing bios settings)
Nevertheless both isolinux and grub should have native keyboard support. PS/2 keyboards are on their way out. (see also https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub/+bug/60177) We simply can't say 'change this in your bios' to newbies. This either has to be fixed - or it will be a reason for only geeks using linux. I have changed the status to confirmed - since I just did confirm the bug. ** Changed in: base-installer (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => New ** Changed in: base-installer (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- isolinux didn't support my usb keyboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/8944 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
