Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: syslinux

Since all other major distributions create hybrid mode iso images it is
really sad to see that U does not use that feature. It was introduced
with syslinux 3.72 which was over 1 year ago and used till then by
Fedora, Moblin, Kanotix... As the U syslinux is a SuSE modification i
would suggest to use the OpenSuSE patches. OpenSuSE uses hybrid images
since 11.2, so only U is lagging behind. Source:

oss/suse/src/syslinux-3.83-1.23.src.rpm

Maybe the patches work with 3.84 too, which would be the current
version. All that needs to be done is

isohybrid image.iso

after creating the iso image and then you can copy it 1:1 onto usb
drives, also

qemu -hda image.iso

will show the menu as simple test for hybrid mode.

** Affects: syslinux (Ubuntu)
