My sound device is functioning properly under Lucid x86_64 I have a t510 with NVS 3100M, Intel-branded connextant audio and the nVidia sound device (for HDMI) The orange mute LED does not always reflect whether audio is muted in alsa or pulseaudio, but I think it functions at the hardware level. Just make sure that it isn't lit, and that everything else is unmuted in software ;)
