Hi, Why don't you try getting it into Debian first so that your work is accessible to everyone. Since your package is not lucid, it would be worth the wait if you get it into Debian. That way, it would automatically get into Ubuntu and it would reach a larger section of Linux users. http://people.debian.org/~mpalmer/debian- mentors_FAQ.html#packaging You should maintain your package in PAPT (http://wiki.debian.org/Teams/PythonAppsPackagingTeam) since your package is a python application.
