OS: Kubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10, DE: KDE 4.3.2. When I press shutdown
button for the first time, it seems everything is fine: the background
starts fading, the window with shutdown, restart and logout options pops
up as usual, the countdown to poweroff also runs, however, the machine
does not shutdown. The second time the shutdown button is pressed,
nothing happens, no dark background, no shuttingdown window and computer
keeps running. Then, the only way to poweroff is through konsole command
line.
