We've finally come up with an alpha version of RetroShare 0.5 (http://retroshare.sourceforge.net) RetroShare is a file exchange / mail / chat / forum plateform based on PGP authentication and SSL communications. It allows multi-hop F2F file transfer, from multiple/partial sources. We already have a script to make a source Ubuntu package, that compiles cleanly with pbuilder for karmic and jaunty (32 and 64 bits. The only ones I tested). We would really enjoy RetroShare to be available as an Ubuntu package.
