Same issue on an HP G60-530US Notebook. Plug in headphones & sound is still piped through both the headphones and the speakers. Tried (as you can see):
apport-collect -p alsa-driver 521678 but the results are only as in comments #3 & #4. Should I have used apport-collect -p alsa-driver 521678 instead?
