Justin, can you give a bit more detail of how you fixed your broken modules?
Like you, my openafs module is now failing to load after the kernel update. When you say you needed to install linux-headers-2.6.31-19 manually, how is this done? I assume you have to rebuild openafs manually as well? What are the commands to do this?
