You'll have to excuse all the crap irrelevant text that came with the apport-bug report, I didn't immediately spot a way to file a bug without using "ubuntu-bug". And it apparently wouldn't take the core file as a parameter. The assertion in the summary gives a a great hint as to what's wrong. Just download the image provided int the comments, and you'll be able to reproduce it in an instant.
