Right, so to undo the damage that adding Tomboy causes I just attempted to kill the Tomboy process. My panel is now in the center of the screen. The programs I tried to launch (to test the launchers) opened. The "run command" box from alt+f2 opened (tried hitting "cancel" with no response). An error message asking if I want to reload Tomboy popped up. I hit "don't reload" and nothing happened. Hit it a few more times, and eventually it went away, but things weren't fixed. I think it reloaded itself anyway, so I had to kill it again.
