Fairly new installation of Kubuntu 9.10 with all patches applied. The error message is as follows: The package download failed: Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/m/mc/mc_4.6.2-2ubuntu1_i386.deb Could not connect to localhost:1080 (127.0.0.1). - connect (111: Connection refused) [IP: 127.0.0.1 1080] If I run apt-get to install the same package, it works correctly.
