Yes, I have also had this bug. The solution is the following: 1) remove pcmanfm 0.5.2 that you have installed 2) install pcmanfm 0.5.1 from here: https://edge.launchpad.net/~gilir/+archive/unstable/+packages Everything is working in karmic with this fix, except your version will be 0.5.1, not 0.5.2.
