Hi! Just by curiosity I tried capturing again from webcam in Luciole 0.7.3 (31) on my Ubuntu Karmic laptop (64bit, Intel). Again, no acquisition was possible.
I tried enabling hardware acceleration (enabling the proprietary nVidia Quadro driver) This time webcam acquisition worked properly. I hope this information can be useful.
