that's the job from the administrator to verify the group when he creates the user, changing users already created without asking is an another thing. The users have no "profile" assigned, that's just something used when creating the user to know what groups, to use, etc, once it's created there is no such information stored, you can achieve the same group membership by creating a non-admin user and adding it manually to groups then
