Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
I was using https://help.ubuntu.com/9.10/serverguide/C/postfix.html to try and set up mail server. I was unable to do that despite finding a bug in the process of trying to make it work. If you follow documentation and you decide to selv validate your own self-signed certificate then this step will break sudo postconf -e 'smtpd_tls_CAfile = /etc/ssl/certs/cacert.pem' Nowhere on certificate page (https://help.ubuntu.com/9.10/serverguide/C /certificates-and-security.html) except in the part on public certificates does it say to create cacert.pem ** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- p[ostfix documentation is wrong https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/518289 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
