Forget to say in my previous message that the array was working perfectly for around 1-2 months before the upgrade.
Also, first time it happend was soon after a reboot after upgrading the kernel. The HD led was on non stop, could move the mouse but Ubuntu was unresponsive. After, the computer would be randomly unresponsive for 10-15 second and come back. Tried building arrays around 10 times, always the same problem.
