Hi, I'm in contact with Michael Hanke and I synced his debian packages into my PPA (https://launchpad.net/~mms-prodeia/+archive/ppa).
So both, qlandkartegt & the corresponding garmindev package are available from there. Don't know if it helps syncing to Lucid?!
