I'm seeing 60-90% CPU utilization by netbook launcher while running Firefox. as suggested above and here http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/linux-desktop-x-windows/147750-netbook-launcher-using-100-cpu.html I tried Run "dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg" as described in the xorg.conf file's comments.
