Same here, Kubuntu 9.04. In Dolphin If you try to browse the network via Samba Shares it displays the Workgroup icon double click on it and nothing, just a blank window.
In Konqueror if you enter smb://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx where xxx is the IP address of the computer you are browsing it correctly displays the shares. Likewise if you enter the ip address of the computer you are trying to browse in Dolphin. Entering the computer name in Dolphin just displays a blank window even if you enter the share name.
