This is really weird: Package python2.6 is trying to overwrite gtk-2.0/glib/_glib.so which is already provided by python-gobject-dbg
However the version of python2.6 which you're installing in http://launchpadlibrarian.net/23196025/python2.6_removal is not the final jaunty one; I suspect you got hit by a temporary problem with python2.6 which stuck on your system until you removed and reinstalled python2.6. I suspect this problem isn't reproducible nowadays; do you have any recipe to reproduce it? ** Package changed: python-support (Ubuntu) => python2.6 (Ubuntu) -- ubuntu jaunty repositories contain faulty python 2.6 code https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/333798 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
