I've tested this with the latest stable Ubuntu release, 9.10 (Karmic
Koala) and cannot reproduce this problem. Thanks for reporting this and
let us know if you have further problems. For now I'm closing this, feel
free to reopen it if you can reproduce this bug on the latest release of
Ubuntu.
