Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I noticed when going through your logs that "LINE" is muted (see below).
Simple mixer control 'Line',0 Capabilities: pvolume pswitch Playback channels: Front Left - Front Right Limits: Playback 0 - 65 Mono: Front Left: Playback 0 [0%] [-35.00dB] [off] Front Right: Playback 0 [0%] [-35.00dB] [off] Please run "alsamixer" (without the quotes) from a terminal window & unmute this channel. Also ensure that you increase the volume level of this channel. If you are running Karmic, please read through the following wiki page as it resolves a lot of common audio problems. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSoundProblems/KarmicCaveats Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- No sound after upgrading from 8.10 to 9.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/515422 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
