How is this a duplicate of bug #512673? I can't see it.

Update: The behavior of this bug has changed with firefox 3.5.7 -- the
profile manager does come up now and seemingly I can start a new
instance in a separate profile.

However, when just running
firefox -no-remote
the same error message as before pops up which tells me firefox is already
running, which I'm aware of, and that it has crashed, which it hasn't. I
actually do want to start a new instance, but it isn't aware that I gave it the
-no-remote switch, it just thinks I'm starting firefox regularly and that an
previous firefox instance has crashed and is still running.

It *doesn't* crash though, and bug #512673 seems to be talking about
crashing, so I don't see the connection.

Cheers.
