** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: wine1.2

  As originally discussed at
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine1.2/+bug/412195 :

  wine1.2 recommends ttf-tahoma-replacement. Synaptic, the Ubuntu Software
  Centre and other tools install recommended packages by default. As a
  consequence, any website which specifies "Tahoma" as a font will be
  rendered differently in Firefox and possibly other browsers. This is an
  unexpected behaviour for users who do not anticipate that, or understand
  why, installing Wine would cause this change.

  One possible solution is to direct the default web browser, or all
  fontconfig-aware software, to ignore ttf-tahoma-replacement — for
  example, by configuration described at
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine1.2/+bug/412195/comments/44
  (and attached).

  $ lsb_release -rd && apt-cache policy wine1.2 ttf-tahoma-replacement
