Hi Jeremy, Tested with latest Ubuntu kernel (git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ubuntu- karmic.git, 891645fa08de3185361ea2382669240143b6659c, 2.6.31-18.56) according to instructions http://blog.avirtualhome.com/2009/11/03/how- to-compile-a-kernel-for-ubuntu-karmic/ and the problem can be reproduced with no obvious info in dmesg.
Regarding testing with upstream kernel - can I just use the config from the running kernel to compile the upstream kernel ? How do I go about compiling the non free modules (broadcom drivers in my case) - any pointer/doc would be helpful. -- Frequently getting disconnected from wireless https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/486869 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
