I'm using RGB already... Played around a little with the gnome-power- manager and xset, and found out that GMP is actually working well, it can turn my DFP off with no problem. Unfortunately I have to use "xset s off" on every login to disable this annoying screen blanking stuff. I had absolutely no problem with these in Jaunty and before... haven't tried Lucid yet. I have NVidia with 185.18.36 closed source drivers.
